i apologize for how lengthy this section is but i need to lay all my cards on the table for our mutual comfort <3  characterization   mackenzie has been around since late 2019 and he has gone through tweaks over the years. his concepts are based in fantasy and horror. he was the starting point for a larger universe i have spent the last few years creating. i don't want to see any of my own personal work ripped off. if you are interested in my lore and want to make an oc! hit me up, but please don't lift my specific ideas.  shipping   mackenzie is written as a demi-omniromantic & grey-omnisexual. he has a sexual preference for woman, and a romantic preference for men. but he is attracted to all genders.i will be blunt when i say he is difficult to ship with, especially in verses that involve lucifer (which is most of them.) in all those verses he is an assault victim, and for various other reasons he is emotionally withdrawn.if you are interested in shipping please hit me up and we can talk about it. as i would prefer ships to be plotted out. but please don't be offended if it doesn't work out. mackenzie's story is very triggering and it effects how he is in relationships.  content curating   for simplicity sake i have moved my content curating list to a google doc. it will be updated and added to as i see fit. if you intend to follow me, please read it. i will know if you do not

＊ THE DEUS PROPHECY …

in the beginning there was nothing. a vast black space swept across out universe, untouched by celestial power. god came first, his angels quickly following. next would be death, the ruler of everything god could not touch himself. and finally, god’s most trusted angel, lucifer. well loyal to god, lucifer secretly coveted the power his master had and planned to take it for himself. for his attempted attack on the lord god our father lucifer was cast out of heaven and fell, wings burning as he went. the fallen angel would end up in what we now know as hell.from his own domain lucifer continued to test god, causing a war between the demons and the angels. it was during this time god created earth, the people, the animals, the sky. everywhere one could touch was god’s creation. lucifer too wanted god’s world to himself and decided to unleash an army of darkness across the land.god had a decision to make. there was only one way to stop lucifer from claiming humanity. he could lock the devil in hell for good, but not without a great price. god himself would be locked in heaven in return, unable to truly be one with the world he created. a sacrifice that had to be made, he carried out his plan, preventing lucifer from sinking his claws into humanity.now what were they to do? both of them almost frozen in their respective domains, practically powerless to stop it. the answer was simple: there was a prophecy that god had kept hidden; since the moment of the documents mysterious creation. it was tiled deus, and mentioned a saviour a salvator.the saviour would be born in the world below, half human half angel. and this magical hybrid would inherit all of gods power, wielding it to defeat lucifer once and for all. so god gave his magic to eleven angels, kristel being the leader of the group. these angels would search the world for this unknown saviour, far and low till they were found.

unfortunately satan got word of the deus prophecy and sought to destroy the angels chances of finding this soul. kristel, fortunately knew the devil was up to no good and had prepared for this. there was a fairy kingdom in the glade hidden away from the rest of the world. it was quiet and unknown, a perfect place to hide their secret.before satan’s demons could take her and her angels away, locking them in another dimension, kristel blessed the fairies of the axaimiria dynasty with gods magic, the angeli dei. along with this, she passed on a secret message. she knew the location where the saviour was to be born. it was a secret kept to ensure the childs survival.as prophecy foretold, the salvator would be born to the kingdom of dropis, a land of lush green and untold magical power. centuries passed and stone frostyfleck, king of the fae went on a quest to warn the dropis kingdom of the powerful warlock to be born. shrivera the queen at the time, refused to listen to the silly prophecy and cast stone out of dropis. the fairy king enraged, a fight began between the rulers.shrivera fell in battle, no match for the power of angeli dei. stone had vanquished her without breaking a sweat. but he himself fell quickly after, murdered by the dropis queens son lutheran. from that day on magic was banned from the kingdom of dropis. this would be the day that the dropis war with the axamiria dynasty began. a brutal war that last a century.little by little magic users died out of dropis. eventually they became nothing but a myth among the dropis people. the kingdom grew gloomy losing its magical glow, withering away into nothingness. but then one winters night, a baby was born to two dropis people. and on his foot, was the mark of a warlock.

＊ TIMELINE.

   III  EARLY LIFE.      mackenzie was born on the first night of winter in 1483 to the kingdom of dropis, during the great war against the axaimiria dynasty. in a land where magic has been banned for some time, his parents were instantly fearful when he bore the birthmark of a warlock. on that night, his mother kiva, a non practicing witch broke the laws of her kingdom to make a deal with lucifer himself.it had been a long time since a magic user had been born into dropis, & such young magic blood was valuable. lucifer was powerful enough to end the decades long war, & would stop it at such a handsome price. but the devil was not convinced baby mackenzie would suit his purposes. he needed to watch him grow a bit first.nonetheless he agreed to stop the war, unknownst to kiva lucifer put a clause in their contract. should young mackenzie prove to be invaluable he would instead take kivas life instead as payment. kiva did not tell her husband risum of her dealings with satan.kiva & risum hid mackenzie from the rest of the other villagers. no one knew he existed, he was kept hidden. for mackenzie this was all he knew. isolation. he was close with his father, very close. often flocking to him when he needed companionship. his mother was aloof, distancing herself from him in any way possible it would seem. this hurt mackenzie not knowing what he did to upset her.throughout his childhood lucifer placed many an obstacle in mackenzies path to test him, to see if he could mold him. through & through mackenzie proved to nothing less of a kind person, with a little mischievous streak.his magic was unstable, but that didn’t stop him from trying to control it. of course his parents had warned him not to play around with such things, & it only made him curious. it was hard to learn on his own but from books he found snooping in his mothers things mackenzie learned a few tricks.   III  ADOLESCENCE.    when he was seventeen his mother fell ill. no one knew why. mackenzie searched the forbidden magic books for a way to save his mother, but spell after spell failed. the energy he was emitting was astronomical. risum warned his son that he would have to seek solace somewhere away from dropis, if he was to keep using magic like this.as his mothers condition grew worse the hope in his heart was dying. she had never been a mother to him, so why was he so desperate to save her ? perhaps he wanted to prove to her that she had nothing to fear of him. he saw it sometimes in her eyes. the fear. later he would discover that was not fear of him, but fear of the unknown.running out of time mackenzie took a chance on the book of lucifer & wondered if he could barter for his mothers life. the answers he found were not ones he wished to know. the devil told him the truth. kiva was dying because her life was the price for the end of the war. to lucifer, mackenzie had become unusable. his life was no longer an option. mackenzie became angry about his mothers betrayal & the devil took a chance to use his pain against him. his mother sold him to satan, his father & mother sheltered him & his gifts. lucifer told him he deserved better. he deserved to be free.lucifer promised mackenzie immortality on the grounds that he return to his home & kill kiva. & in doing so fulfil the original contract. a trap unknowingly to mackenzie.

rage drove him to murder his mother, not even giving her a chance to speak about her misdeads. he then promised eternal protection to his father for he did still carry some affection towards him. but risum was terrified & tried to attack his son. it was with great regret mackenzie murdered his father next. he had very little time to mourn before he made his way back to hell.lucifer was pleased with mackenzies progress & granted mackenzie the immortality he promised. the teenager thought he was to be free from his shackles, but his imprisonment was just beginning. lucifer explained just what actually killing kiva meant. the deal was he would either own mackenzie or eventually kill kiva. & because mackenzie himself killed his mother, his soul as originally stated now belonged to lucifer.there was no escape for him. onto his skin lucifer burned his mark, bonding them together for all eternity. they were one. mackenzie croft became ark kenzie. faithful servant to heavens fallen angel.
to assure ark could serve well, the devil let the teenager age till twenty-six in physical years. ark was stuck in hell till he reached that age.   III  ADULTHOOD - PRESENT      when ark left hell he felt a pull on his soul towards a hidden bush out in the great unknown. ark stumbled upon the dropis enemy kingdom, axaimiria dynasty home of the fairies. he was confused about why he ended up in such a place. the current ruler of the fairies, aodh olivepearl could instantly tell something was off.
the fairy queen took ark into her care, she wanted to witness the power he had. he was hesitant to show her, his mind jumbled his heart unsure of where he was to go. the horrors he had seen in hell. —- the queen saw his torment & discovered he had angeli dei. there was something darker in his soul, & if he was the salvator then he needed to be trained.ark found his mind clearing in the safety of the fairy haven. his guilt for his parents deaths creeping up on him. the mark of lucifer fading from his skin with each passing day. he grew stronger & it was clear to aodh young mackenzie was the salvator they had been waiting for.but lucifer was up to his games as usual & found a way once again to overcome the angeli dei. he did after all end the war when mackenzie was a young baby. mackenzie tried to fight the darkness creeping back into his head, but the devil won out once again. the mark of the devil was hard to break, his soul too tarnished already. ark kenzie was here to stay.now that satan knew he had the salvator in his control he was unstoppable. axaimiria dynasty fell. a blood bath slaughter took place that day at the hands of ark kenzie. the angeli dei was no more. the only magic left was in young ark. he may have had the power of the angels but he would never be one of them.

   III  AND I GOT CURSED LIKE EVE GOT BITTEN (MAIN).    mackenzie croft is god's prophesized savior destined to defeat satan and annihilate hell from existence. unfortunately for him, he gets into a deal with the devil that he does not quite understand. bond for eternity to the king of hell, mackenzie lives out his life as immortal arkham, "ark kenzie" the faithful servant to heaven's fallen angel.   III  THAT CHEST MUST BE HEAVY FROM THAT CROSS ON YOUR NECK (SAVIOUR)    the prophecy has been fore filled. mackenzie croft defeated satan and saved humanity from eternal damnation. he ascended into heaven with full angel status to take his place among the choir. however, god isn't done with him just yet. mackenzie is thrown back down to the mortal world and cursed with his immortality to wander the earth as long as required. with hell gone, there is much humanity need fear now : what lurks in the shadows of the burnt out remains of a hellish afterlife.   III  GOD SAW THE ANGEL IN MARBLE AND CARVED UNTIL HE SET HIM FREE (ARCHANGEL)    born after lucifer fell from heaven, kenzie is an archangel to god the father. typically, mackenzie is the one who greets you when you enter heaven accidentally. meaning, he takes care of those who wind up in gods realm before their time. kenzie is earth bound from time to time, enjoying the curiosities of the human world.   III  AN ANGEL'S ARM CAN'T SNATCH ME FROM MY GRAVE (SON OF SATAN)    there is no prophecy, mackenzie is simply a magical child caught up in a scheme of a hateful mother. on the night of his birth the devil came for the baby and would raise him on his own. named arkham, he would grow up under the influence of darkness, unveiling a much more darker self than before.  III A SCHOLAR IS LIKE A BOOK WRITTEN IN A DEAD LANGUAGE; NOT EVERYONE CAN READ IT (MODERN).   mackenzie croft is a brit from manchester who moved to new york to attend university. he is a english scolar with a focus on arthurian legend. mackenzie is in regular contact with his father roy who lives back in england. his half sister jolie from his mothers previous relationship is also part of his life. however, his mother kira has been written off entirely  III FEELING YOUR COLD DEAD EYES, STEALING THE LIFE OF MINE (MODERN).   modern verse of an angels arm can't snatch me from my grave arkham was sold to samuel delacroix to pay off his mothers debts. he is currently working at his fathers business, arkham slave to please his father and nothing more. this verse will contain triggering topics. mackenzie is a victim of sexual abuse from his father

   III  HOLD ON, I’M COMING APART (MORTAL)    after completing his task as gods prophesized savior, mackenzie requests a chance at a normal life. stripped of his magic he is thrown back down to earth as a mortal, only to regain re entry into heaven if he lives an honest life. free of burdens, mackenzie has a whole world to explore, no longer chained to his immortality.   III  HE ASSCENED INTO HEAVEN AND IS SEATED AT THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE FATHER (ANGEL)       post freeing himself from lucifer. mackenzie fore fills the prophecy and ascends to heaven. he reunites with his father and becomes gods right hand.   III  BURNING ALL YOUR BIBLES; I WILL CRAFT MY OWN ( GREY ANGEL).    post destruction of hell. mackenzie receives his angel wings, but elects to give them up in favour of being his own kind of angel. he falls back to hell after being cast out of heaven and fuels himself with the remnants of the massacre . he is neither for or against heaven or a now destroyed hell. mackenzie hides on earth avoiding gods call to him.

   III  THE CURSED DELACROIX (NEVERMORE).    arkham delacroix is the adopted son of samuel delacroix and twin brother of cassian "warren" delacroix. his brother forever in his shadow, arkham does his best to shield warren from the horrors of the family secrets, but single handedly creates an enemy instead. the twins attend nevermore academy on rather cordial terms but things really get messy once warrens best friend ling returns when the twins are enrolled in nevermore university. all arkham can do is keep trekking on, enjoying freedom from his abusive father.  III BORING?
